Exploring Branding
Whether it be for social media, web, or print - brand consistency and identity is a big cause in my life. When I first started at FEMA, my team was tasked with creating, defining, and upholding the FEMA brand and identity. We championed the movement to produce products that give credibility, accessibility, and consistency to our agency. Following our branding guidelines, we developed thousands of graphics and documents that made information clear and easily understandable to disaster survivors. This work is part of the early exploration.
Branding in Practice
As the FEMA brand has taken shape, so have many disasters and messaging circumstances. Here are some examples of effective messaging that I made using our brand guidelines.
Art Direction and Effective Mission Message
I pride myself on being able to identify and interpret different communication needs during a project. I love the process of bridging the gap between a project holder’s first concept and the final product. Here are a few different video projects that represent different design and communication challenges.
FEMA Strat Plan - Animation, Character animation, and Editing
FEMA Pub 1: art direction, animation, acting, and editing
FEMA 45 video: Art Direction, Animation, and editing
FEMA APP -Art Direction, Concept development, Project management, and character animation

Seasonal/ Commemorative/ Special Event work
Seasonal and commemorative design work is a place where I like to be a little more creative and showcase brighter colors and themes.
